42 Claps is a very, very small company. Will it be small forever and ever? We hope not!

42 Claps was born in August 2009. It was founded by César Salazar, a seasoned user experience architect that previously leaded the such teams as Tikkia and PLU5. Currently, he also helps to organize the Mexico Web Conference and is a co-founder of the Mexico City Dev House.

We believe there’s no ultimate answer to any question, but at least in user experience, knowing what the customer is asking for, let’s you give the right answer.

At first, we thought 42 Smiles or 42 Laughs would make a terrific name, but then we realized it was not only about the fun of building compelling experiences, but about the delight we wanted to create around our work. People clap when they express satisfaction, and that’s what we strive to create.
